Introduction.
This site is all about my local scene and how we are progressing. Since
I broke my leg in July and found I would be in cast for 5 months, I thought
would be a good idea to build this site. The people I hang around with
are aged from 13 to 18, we have been riding properly for agood few years
now and we mainly do dirt but also do a bit of street and park when we
can.
My
name is Adam and I am 16 and have been riding
almost 3 years now but because of a huge root sticking out of the
floor I broke my leg in two places and I was unable to ride my bike
for about 6-8 months. 
So this website is one of the outcomes of my broken leg (and being pretty
good on guitar). After you have had a look around you can email me

My
Injury
It
was just a simple day of riding after school (apart from Craig mooning
at everyone). We were all just jumping away when I thought I would try
to land in a Manual of one of the smaller jumps (nothing drastic). But
as I'm not the best at manualing in the world I came of the back of the
bike and fell to my knees with my right leg twisted. Not knowing about
the a huge root stick out of the floor. My shin hit it and (even with my
shin pads on) broke both the bones in my leg.
My normal reaction to a crash is to get straight up and walk it of, not
know of my leg (The pain hadn't kicked in yet) I tried to get up and collapsed
straight back down to the floor when I tried to put weight on my bad leg.
I got rushed of to A&E at 6 O'clock I was plastered up and in a ward
by 11 O'clock. 4 days later and two different plasters I was shipped out
with no operation and was told to just let it heals its self up.

Yesterday was the day that the river bike
emerged its head out of my shed. If you don't know what a river bike is
its just a old bmx you don't care about with inner tubes inside the spokes
(so it floats). nathan wanted to do it so we took it down the river with
my take of ramp and of course i was the first one to do it but the it was
just me that went into the river and nathan didn't even do it! That doesn't
matter thou because i did it and it was cold but it was even better watching
it on the video camera.

I'm
just finishing my exams then i'll have loads of time to spend on this site.
corth jumps have been trashed again so me and some riders have moved somewhere
else and are working like men on a mission to build some new jumps before
summer but we have been blessed with some really bad rain so we've been
digging like never before!!!we finished the first two and tried them and
they are fast and you go real high. videos will appear when i get a new
program for my video camera and i will have some skate pics when the rain
stops. And also i entered a comp at pewsey skatepark and came third in
halfpipe and third in street and won some stuff and got a houge picture
of a no footed can in the news paper!!!local news papers today ride mag
tomorrow!!!

I
went to bristol skate park in december and that place is amazing got lots
of pictures of it in the park section. I
took james and jack and two skate friends nick and kristian who are now
in the new skate section but there is not
much in there at the moment so i'll have to go take some pictures with
them when they can be bothered (kristians a bit fat and lazy). I was lucky
not to get claimed by the six foot spine but for jack it wasnt his day
and it got him twice(didnt stop him though!!!). I have also saved up and
now own a camcorder and will have some videos soon. watch this space!!!

Havnt touch the website all summer!!!!!!! so the weather has suddenly gone
south so i got a hole load of stuff sorted out so you can see a summers
worth off riding at the trails some skate
parks and some street when we decide
to stop riding and take some pictures!!!!! might be able to put some video
clips on the website soon but it depends if my computer can handle it!!!!
if not you will have to just put up with pictures. im of now, wish i could
ride well il just play some guitar and watch some videos!

trails,trails
and more trails is what we have been riding. Got some mean tricks on the
go(should see pics soon) and just having a great time in the build up to
summer which will be my first riding. And must tell you about are child
prodigy called leon, he is only ten and is flowing through the same set
as us (should see some pictures soon).

feels
like christmas (except for the weather which is like the summer). When
people get bored of bmx (which is impossible but does happen) they have
nothing to do with that bike which is to small and will end up selling
it and me and my brother just happened to be paying customers and got some
great bikes for minimum prices. Now to the riding, my leg is starting to
look good so some pictures of me should appear of me and by the look of
the weather there is a lot of riding to be had but i hear it wont be like
it for long so we have to make the most of it.

we
were lucky enough to have some nice weather the last week so we had just
built up the trails and had a chance to jump them (when I say we I mean
James because my leg isn't strong enough to jump yet). I have just
revamped my bike by ditching my gyro and putting on a single cable new
grips and a paint job (with some well placed stickers to finish it of).

Their are know a couple of pictures of one of my mates Jack on the web
site in streetpics. He lives about 4 miles
down a hilly road so we don't ride with each other that much but when I
can ride you might see a bit more of him.

got
my cast of the other day but the doctor said that my leg is really weak
at the moment and I cant do anything like BMX for 6 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!! But
the weather isn't that good so Im probably couldn't do that much riding
anyway. But I shall return and the world wont know what hit them!

Made
a few of jumps at the trails (Corth), One really big one and a couple of
pretty small ones that I can warm up on when I get my cast of and can ride
properly. Me, James and Dan did some Digging but the weather is getting
worse so we are going to have to wait until the odd sunny day to ride the
trails and just stick to street for a while.

After
coming back from being on holiday I find out that the jumps have been trashed
by a guy who thinks the area belongs to him (even though it's a public
path) who used to live here and has moved away and is visiting on holiday.
But because I'm the only one who wants to dig, the jumps will have to wait
to be rebuilt when I get better.
